VISION
AND MISSION

The mission of the Constructional Engineering Association of South Africa is to represent employers engaged in the steel construction industry, operating in the structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping and project management fields

The Association has a Temporary Employment Services Division (TESD) which represents the interests of employers and employees originally engaged in the steel, structural and mechanical industry and in project management; but throughout the years, it has expanded to multi-discipline sectors such as logistics,
retail, and the motor industry. Some TESD members supply “white collar” professionals such as draughtsmen, engineers, project managers and technicians to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) industries, mining houses and the manufacturing industry.

The association encourages all members to comply with all relevant legal requirements and in the case of the TESD does accredit members who comply with a stringent 18 point compliance audit.

The industry is represented on affiliated bodies where this representation can be meaningful and beneficial.
